I found a new love of drawing Horses in 2024 when I was commissioned to do a memorial piece for a friend of the family, I was initially quite nervous about it as I wasn't that familiar with horse structure and anatomy, which I feel is very important to know so that you have the knowledge to be able to get the hair direction drawn correctly, this is extremely difficult to do if you do not know what lies beneath what the hair rests over, but like any challenge I come across, I just crack on with it, with a determination to overcome and I really enjoyed it, then I just wanted to draw more Horses, so here are a few I have had the pleasure of working on.
